Debussy, Reflets dans l’eau

Est-ce que personne sait que Debussy est un génie de musique? Je demande à mes amis mais personne connait Debussy! Quel dommage! Donc, voici est une vidéo d’un pianiste qui joue un chef-d’ouvre de Debussy, Reflets dans l’eau.

Does anybody know that Debussy is a genius of music? I ask my friends but none of them know Debussy! What a shame! So here’s a video of a pianist playing a masterpiece of Debussy, Reflections in the Water.

It is one of his three movements from his first volume of Images. The pianist is Arturo Beneditti Michelangeli, an Italian classical pianist. It is characteristic of French music of that period, containing ambigious and fast changing harmonies.
